From 19 June – 16 August 2026, we invite you to Sibiu to visit the exhibition Transilvania | Extravaganza, the largest exhibition dedicated to Ștefan Câlția. This exhibition brings together around 80 artworks and takes place in the former building of the Pedagogical School of Ursuline Monastery.

Curated by Liviana Dan, the exhibition is designed as an extensive journey through the recurring themes of the artist: nature, theatre, the place and its spiritual dimension. Installed in the Ursuline Monastery, Transilvania | Extravaganza takes place in the vaulted corridors and historical rooms of the building, a setting that functions as both a visual experience and a space for reflection.

In parallel, the project contributes to the activation of this space, where the architectural reinforcement of the building was an intervention by the Monuments’ Ambulance. Ticket revenue will support the future activities of the Monuments’ Ambulance.

Transilvania | Extravaganza is an event organised by the Ștefan Câlția Foundation, Galeria Posibilă and Galeria Artep Association, in collaboration with the Brukenthal National Museum and Sibiu International Theatre Festival.
